Where The North Wind Did Blow Me.

I spent this morning on the couch with a poorly babe watching Thomas the Tank Engine on loop, and finishing this little piece.

I'm still enchanted with a craft so small and tidy and portable that it gets made in my car and whilst snuggled up with my babies on the couch.

I will soon have to tell you the little story that is growing with these small pieces.

But for now I hope you like the latest installment.

Dear Ciara,
I dearly love your blog! Your thoughts and creations are both warm and inspiring... And crushingly, it makes me wish to be in Ireland again. I know I must have driven through Wicklow on the way to Dublin from Annestown, Dunhill and Tramore, but never enough time, I don't remember stopping there. Your charming ways and those inherent in your lovely land make my heart break-- ache to visit again...

Sorry to hear sickness has reached your home.

Must find small projects to work on as time does not allow much right now.

Your creatures are lovely. They show such personality.

Those are delightful Ciara! We got some moomin books on the internet recently, I'd never read them before but they're so gorgeous and quirky I felt like writing something myself! Your project is beautiful, so atmospheric!

I saw this piece and instantly thought of the hot air ballon ride Lara took in the northern lights adventure. I can't wait to see more of this wonderful adventure you are creating.
