Winter Wonderings.

This weekend has been one big storm. We've had thunder and lightening, wind and rain, power cuts, and high seas. But thankfully the sea has stayed where it's supposed to, although I admit my sleep has been rather unsettled!

But the fire is lit, and we are weathering this storm as cosily as we can. Together.

And as a new week begins we look forward to the countdown beginning, and our festive plans being put into action.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Your little ones are sleeping so soundly; makes me remember how mine looked long ago. They do look cozy! Stay warm and dry.

I have to admit. I love that sort of weather. As long as the sea stays where it should!!

Reminds me of life in Cornwall, when our daughter was small. Get the logs in, stoke up the fires and sit out the storms!

Stay warm and dry.

Sitting next to the warm fire last night....I always wonder what it would be like to brave one of those storms at sea...that would be frightening but exhilarating at the same time....bbbbrrrr! I think I'll stay by the fire!!!

we've had terrible storms too, the sea in Swansea went crazy! Unfortunately not been so cozy as the backdoor and walls started leaking, still, had a great time watching the lightning show!

Ciara, I love all the photos of your little angels...they are the essence of safe and cozy...it's so long since my girls were small. Still, when the sleep and their teenage faces relax, I see my babies in the softening of their mouths and closed eyes.

treasure every moment...they are all so precious!
gentle steps,
Laura

Such a sweet picture. Weather sounds romantic given that it's still very sunny and warm here in Los Angeles! We need some rain!

Aw, that's adorable... Little ones! The place where you live seems so fantastic, albeit dramatic. But lovely.
