A Week Of Pictures.

A busy week. A week of family gatherings, birthdays, and farewells.

With the whole family, except for The Dirt Dude, together for the first time in two years, we finally got around to having The Smallest's Naming day. And at the same time we celebrated my nephew's first birthday.

We got to spend time with our dearest friend's Marta and Sam, home at last, but just not for long enough. And we were honoured to celebrate a special birthday with Marta, all together, in our house.

And we had to say goodbye to my sister Emma. Who knows when we will see each other again?

I'm not thinking about that...

Happy Birthday T!

Fortunate Marta to have such a cake! And I love those little striped pirate arms.

Wonderful photos! I love that shot of playing under the table. It brings me right back to building doll mansions under my mother's large, ornate coffee table when we were kids. She had this antique set of encyclopedias with fancy bindings that we'd stack in a swirl to make elegant winding staircases all the way up to the "penthouse" on the table top! Hope this week is as lovely for you as it looks like last week was! xo

Ah, Ciara! How beautiful is a naming day for Billy. And I'm so happy to hear how wonderful it was for your sister Emma to be back home with you all. Finn's cake looked absolutely scrumptious. We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Lovely memories of a lovely time with Emma home. Hope we get to repeat that in the not-too-distant future.

Great photos-- I most especially love Billy's contemplation. It struck me on first look to be a shot of a train compartment... I wonder where he's traveling!
