In The Middle Of Ireland.

We took a detour.

On our trip home from the south.

A blessed rest,

in the middle of Ireland.

We paused,

on the banks of Lough Derg,

in the quiet,

and contemplated.

And sometimes it's the balm you need,

just to pause.

And breathe for a moment.

Ciara , are you sure you were`nt a bard in a past life ??? With my work I read MANY poems...but your writing is MY balm...and yes , PAUSE is a button I`m always telling everyone to press...having a cuppa in your honour ! Tia

The images you capture with your camera are wondrous. And full of magical narrative.

What amazing pictures! My son can't believe the one of your son in the tree. His words... "O.M.G.". Lovely post.

Wonderful. I know it is a different Lough Derg to the pilgrimage site, but it looks just as suitable a place for contemplation.
