At The End Of Ireland.

So I am dragging my heels here. I admit it.

Why is it so hard to open this creaky little door to the land of blog again?

I feel so many things are in a state of flux at the moment, and I'm having difficulty pinning myself down. Maybe it's the feel of the end of the holidays approaching. So much still to do.

Anyway, our holiday didn't go as planned and we had to come home early. Difficult but necessary.

So here's a taster of our few days with our dearest friends.

So as I'm beginning to notice the barest perceptible change in the night air, the slightest drawing in of the evenings, I am trying to rally my troops to get the most out of the few weeks that are left.

But sometimes when the wind is taken out of your sails it's hard to fly again.

For a little while.

Oh, I 'm sorry you had to return early from such a beautiful holiday. Yes, that can certainly take the wind out of your sails. I'll be thinking of you. I've felt listless before, too.

You did get some lovely photos!

We went to Clonakilty, or should I say, as is customary "Clonakilty God Help Us", to ward off the workhouse. It seems impossible to imagine those hard times now doesn't it.

Whatever has taken the wind out of your sails, I hope you come out of the doldrums soon.

Sorry to hear about your vacation!!! It looks lovely! In time you will be back in the swing of things. Sometimes we need a mental break from the world. I know I do! Getting outdoors with your family is the best medicine!!!
And lots of hugs!!

Looove the ears shot. I can hear the snuffles for truffles behind the hay.

Ireland looks so nice. A pity I never had time to visit when my sister lived there.

Thanks for all your sweet comments everyone.

Ladybug-zen: you'd be taking your life in your hands to cycle on our roads! We've only recently started putting in cycle-paths and then only in some of the bigger towns. It always terrifies me when I see tourists on our little country roads! But I guarantee you'd have an amazing holiday if you do come. It really is a magical place.

And I'm seeing that first photo with different eyes now! Chris, and Elaine(Jaboopee), I no longer see Ru's feet where he lay above us looking at the sky, but a hide-and-seek pig! In fact, I think I've been spending too much time looking at your painting's Chris, because all I see now is a big hairy creature with little pink ears on top of his big ole head! LOL!
