Shivering Green.

I think it was the rain that woke me,
or someone murmuring through the walls in their sleep,
the sky still light in it's strange pale midnight
where the curtains were not drawn.

The irony that is midsummer.

I can hear those clouds like a rumbling storm coming in...so powerful...beautiful with the children running in the fields.

Great photos, Ciara. The first and third could be paintings. Susan

So, summer doesn't seem to want to visit us this year - but rain - oh do we have rain. So tell me - why is it that rain looks so much prettier where you are, through your lens my friend...??? :)
Have a lovely week,
xx

Summertime, when the livin' is, well...damp. Lovely shots, Ciara, especially the second in the sequence.

Ah sure, it's wonderful weather so long as we marvel at its wilful ways and never heed the forecast. Those are beautiful photos.

Lovely photos, I have to admit I think the longest day is always a dismal day but I think it is the first time in 9 years (son't bday) that we've had heavy rain on 24th June!
