Tenacious Winter, She Breathes, She Does Not Yet Sleep.

But close you eyes against the sun, for this golden haze will bring a memory,
a memory to warm your skin.

  1. I am longing for Spring...

Your photos of a frosty morning, chilly and crisp looking... The first one with the field and the light of the sun breaking through is magical.

  10. Still looks mighty frosty over there...yesterday I walked in the hills and found little signs of spring all around me. But one never knows when winter can shock us still! Lovely thoughts and pictures.

  15. Gorgeous photos, Ciara. That last one fills me with such longing! We are supposed to get another foot of snow this week, and honestly, I don't know where in blazes we'll shovel the stuff. There's no room left to pile it around our house. Ah, the joys of city living in a very snowy part of the world. The one comfort is that the days a growing longer. I gobble up every minute of sunlight that I can!

Hope you are well, dear one. xo Gigi
