Today is the first Harvest Festival. Lughnasadh is named after the sun god Lugh. It's a time to celebrate the beginning of the harvest and the beginning of the end of the summer. (Eek! Can you believe it!)
Time to make the most of the precious sunlight.
And the height of the summers abundance.
