He Has Fallen In The Forest...

A pall of sadness hangs over us.
We have lost someone dear to us,
and our hearts are broken.

Our hearts are broken...

Please, forgive the quiet here for the next few days.

  2. Erin, I would, but I'm afraid it's not my story to tell.

But we have tragically lost a dear, uncommon, beautiful, kind and funny young man of only 28.

It must have been a mistake... for it makes no sense.

  7. You have the most serene writing voice I've read in a long time. Poetically beautiful...don't ever let the rules and realities of writing for the possibility of income change that.
Thank you for the reads. I'm now following your blog and will return often.

  8. So sorry to hear this. It is always sad when someone dies but to be so young makes it more heart breaking. I lost a dear friend when i was a teenager and I still feel the pain of that loss today. Lots of love to the parents and family and to you and yours xo

  12. At first I thought 'perfect this photo is'. Then I read your words. 28 if far too young for anyone to die, I pray a peace is found by yourself and those that knew this young person. Find solace in the quiet, and come out of it celebrating that you had even know someone who touched you so.

  14. In terms of it is finished we shed our tears.
In terms of it is finished we live our years.
In terms of it is finished we say good bye
In terms of it is finished we question why.
In terms of it is finished-
    the grand, earth lie.

Thank you for your beautiful, lyrical works.
    Let your voice rest peacefully.

  16. Love is so beautiful,
    In love there is loss,
    Life is still beautiful,
    Do not cause loss,
    If it occurs to you,
    Just accept it.

    None causes loss,
    It just happens,
    Forgive those,
    Who appear to have,
    Caused loss to you,
    Forgiveness is noble

  32. Grief is a deep and all-encompassing emotion. Its tentacles can threaten to wash you away, but try to recognize the angels that come to help steady your life raft as you ride the tidal storm. It is amazing how much love can come from loss, but it hurts more than words can truly ever describe. I feel for you in the darkness and pain that is loss. May the light shimmer in the distance to help you find your way. Peace to you

  41. God, OH GOD-- HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? Somehow I missed this, have slipped up here;I just sent the most seemingly thoughtless note, not knowing... I am crushed. I wish I could turn back the clock, stop time... it should not have happened. My mind is still reeling. My heart is breaking to comprehend it... for all of you... What words? What comfort?

And yet, I'm glad you are there, Ciara... dear... And your words are so appropriate, beautiful. I know you are a comfort, even in your own loss...

I wish there were something I could do-- am bereft

Love and heartfelt thoughts prayers... wishes... sadness

    xo m
