October.

And so October has arrived at my back door.

And tonight the fire is lit, has moved indoors from the garden.

When I lay in the grass today...

The fire is lit,
and the moon is full. And a new season is settling in.

Things have been so hectic, and I feel the need to slow things down quite a bit. And maybe I need a few reminders.
Sometimes all it takes is a fire in the hearth...

  1. yes, there's no denying autumn is here! i have a hectic month ahead but maybe we'll try and keep the living room tidy and put down a fire. i've stacked firewood and turf today! a pityful amount though, we've got some more gathering to do before the winter!
